The BF2 Racing MOD is quite a bit different from the standard game of Battlefield 2, so I think it’s necessary to lay out a few ground rules before you join the Stickman’s Turbo Jeep Racing server.

For instance, there is no enemy to kill. This is strictly RACING and we’re all on the same team. All racing participants MUST join the US team in order to race. You won’t even be able to enter a racing jeep in the starting gate unless you’ve joined the US team. This was done so that all racers will show up on the mini map during the race. If anyone tries to take ‘shortcuts’ around the track, the rest of the racers will be able to see them and they will be disqualified from the race.

Cheating will not be tolerated on this server, so please do not even try. This server is only for mature gamers that understand the meaning of sportsmanship and fair play. Remember – it’s just for fun! BattleRecorder is running on this server, so please believe me when I tell you, disruptive players will not last long. Stand in front of the Start Switch and press E (ENTER) on your keypad to start the timer.Next, let’s talk about starting a race. There is a 30 second delay at the beginning of the round so that all players have time to load in. Make sure that you join the US team before you spawn in and then enter the nearest jeep as soon as you spawn in. The player nearest to the Start Button will stand in front of the Start Button and when he/she sees that everyone is ready, will hit E (ENTER) on their keypad to start the GATE TIMER. The starting gates will open after a 15 second delay, so the person starting the race will have plenty of time to enter their vehicle.

This next image is of a racer in the starting gate on the Lakeside Park race track waiting for the race to begin.

As soon as the gate opens, hit the throttle and GO!

Judges Booths for competitve play. Each race consists of one (1) lap around the track and the Finish Line Flag turns the instant the first racer crosses the Finish Line. For competitive play, I have included judges booths at each Finish Line along with a Yellow Finish Line on the ground and a Finish Wire across the track. The Finish Line Flag turns instantly when a racer crosses the Finish LIne.Judges should take a screenshot of the racers crossing the wire to verify the winner.

If you “die” during the race, you are out of the race. When you re-spawn, please do not disrupt the other racers or go near the Finish Line flag. You can enter the judges booth to help to verify the winner or grab another jeep and go for a ride until the race is over.

There are six boats at the Lakeside Park boat race. The Lakeside Park map not only has a jeep race, but it also includes a boat race and a demolition derby arena. Each event has its own start button and works independently of the other start buttons. There are six (6) boats available for the boat race and each one also is fitted with a booster. If you hold the booster on for too long, the front end will rise and eventually flip the boat over. I recommend that you “feather” the booster and pay close attention to the front end of the boat while using it.

If you have any questions, comments, or derogatory remarks about the MOD or the server, please feel free to contact me at: bf2jeepracing@gmail.com. If you would like to use the maps or models in your own custom MOD, you are welcome to do so, but I ask that you give credit to “stickman” when doing so. Please feel free to submit your own custom race maps for inclusion on this website.

The Racing Server Is Offline

I am no longer hosting the BF2 Racing Server at my own expense. This site will remain online and the racing MOD will continue to be available for download.
